A Commercial Break

We interrupt this tale for a word from our sponsor…

Hi. My name is Aimee Dowling and I’d like to talk to you about one of the best places on the island to eat, drink and meet interesting folks… the Hungry Iguana.

The Hungry Iguana was born from a dream by our founder Karl Fenstermacher (Karl for short…) of building a business that provided for a comfortable meeting place in the middle of a paradise setting that had great food, drink, a beautiful backdrop while being affordable, approachable by strangers… and let’s face it, just plain fun.

We have a variety of live music at varying hours throughout the afternoon and evening. Schedules just seem so hard to adhere to down island so we don’t really have one … or want one.

In addition to the live music, we feature a great array of traditional tropical themed boat drinks, an ever changing menu of both island themed dishes and traditional American fare, friendly wait staff and a great view of the Caribbean at sunset.

If you are a boater, we have a convenient access ramp from the general store at the marina (oddly enough called the Marina General Store) that’ll take you right up to the outdoor serving area.

So, if you haven’t already made the HI a regular stop during your stay on the island, come by this evening and give us a try. We have some interesting dinner specials this evening including a wonderful Mahi Mahi entrée, appetizers include some rum soaked Jerk Chicken and…

Was that a gunshot?? What the…?

Oh my God… Cut, stop the cameras… some one call the constable.
